The Beach Club: Better Than Ever
Situated below Quivira’s thatched-roof golf clubhouse, the family-friendly oceanfront club, a go-to destination for community residents, features a heated zero-entry pool, hot tub, beach deck, snack bar, and bathrooms with showers and changing facilities. Private day beds and chaise lounges are ideal for relaxation.
Sports fans gravitate to the large rectangular bar and the six flat-screen TV’s suspended above it. Poolside snacks, refreshing drinks, and specialty cocktails are served along with panoramic ocean views until 7:00 p.m. daily.
The shroud-like entryway to the Beach Club was initially inspired by a concha (seashell) and later modified to resemble the carapace of a sea turtle. (Migrating female turtles lay their eggs on the resort community’s beaches). The framework of the structure is covered with woven palm fronds to blend it with the beach and desert.

- The club’s cuisine is made with the freshest, finest-quality ingredients. The hottest dish this season is ‘The Ultimate Rib Eye Double Hamburger,’ served with caramelized onion, sweet pickles, American cheese, fried bacon, and homemade dressing. La Concha continues to turn out outstanding ceviche, while Asian night at the Beach Club (every Friday) has become a popular themed culinary event.
- The club’s one-of-a-kind outdoor cinema projects movies onto the large canvas sail of a beached sailboat.
- Green grass areas for special events, from the Super Bowl to Easter, are celebrated in a big and creative way at The Beach Club.
