Summer Magic: Candlelight Concerts at Quivira Los Cabos

Mark your calendars! The Candlelight Concert Series at Quivira Los Cabos returns next month, promising music and enchantment at a pair of special performances.

On Saturday, July 20, a ‘Tribute to Elton John’ is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. An iconic British singer, songwriter and pianist, Sir Elton has been acclaimed by critics and fans worldwide for his music and showmanship. The tentative program includes classic hits such as Bennie & the Jets, Rocket Man, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Crocodile Rock, Daniel, Your Song and many more.

On the same night, a ‘Tribute to Queen’ will be held at 9:00 p.m. Elton John once said that Queen, the 1970s British rock band fronted by uber-talented Freddie Mercury, staged the greatest live performance he had ever seen. The tentative program will feature several iconic hits by Queen, including Another One Bites The Dust, We Will Rock You, Don't Stop Me Now, We Are The Champions, and many more.

Each performance will run approximately 60 minutes. The concerts will be held at Amakiri Botanical Garden, where the audience will be seated beneath a starlit sky enveloped by thousands of flickering candles, with the chords and melodies combining to create a mesmerizing spectacle. It’s a visual and auditory delight.
The Candlelight series presents professional musicians from around the globe, each selected to complement the evening’s theme. Both performances on July 20 will showcase the talented trio of Cristina Arista (cello), Rodrigo Acevedo (piano) and Erick Noble (drums). Over the course of the evening, they will bring the songs of Elton John and Queen to life. Voiceless yet expressive, these concerts are a testament to musical talent and artistic expression.

Seats for the Candlelight Concert Series will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis in one of five zones. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Valet parking is available at the club at an additional cost.
