Sabor a Cabo Returns to Los Cabos
Sabor a Cabo (“Taste of Cabo),” a renowned Baja California Sur international gastronomy and wine festival, will celebrate its 16th anniversary on Saturday, February 22 at Club Campestre in San Jose del Cabo.
If you’re looking for the perfect place to savor the authentic flavors of Mexico in a relaxed oceanfront setting while benefitting several worthy charities, Sabor a Cabo checks all boxes.
This keenly anticipated culinary event brings together dozens of top chefs from regional restaurants along with the finest Mexican and international wines, top-shelf tequila and mezcal, and beer from local breweries. Live entertainment will be provided by Yuri, a well-known Mexican singer and actress. Recommended for people over 18 years old, this annual event is consistently elegant and amazing.
Among the restaurants that will be preparing and serving their iconic dishes at the festival are Café des Artistes, Sunset Monalisa, Jardin Secreto, Alita, Romeo y Julieta, Xantusii, Maria Corona, and many more.
According to the festival’s organizers, “Our commitment goes beyond gastronomy. In each edition of Sabor a Cabo, we strive to generate a positive impact in our community. Through partnerships with local institutions such as the Fire Department, the Red Cross, the Children’s Foundation and many more, the festival not only celebrates flavor and culture, but also brings hope and support to those who need it most.”
Comprised of local restaurateurs and entrepreneurs, the destination’s restaurant chamber (CANIRAC delegation) created Sabor a Cabo in 2009 to promote the culinary attributes of Los Cabos--and support local charities. The participation of the restaurants is a direct reflection of their commitment to the destination. This year’s festival is heavily supported by more than 30 local and corporate sponsors.
Sabor a Cabo will be held from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Three ticket options are available.
General admission is $5700 MX and includes access to more than 40 restaurant stands and bars as well as spirits and wine tastings with unlimited consumption until 9:00 p.m. Seats for the guest artist concert are in the general area.
